How Shambhala Changed Your Life

Since the “Sacrifice a Shambhala Virgin” contest was such a success…it’s time for a new contest! Since the last one was exclusively for first timers to the festival, this one is for folks who’ve already been – How Shambhala Changed Your Life.

This is your chance to tell the world (or at least, our Shambhala community) how Shambhala has changed your life! And, possibly win a ticket to Shambhala 2011 in the process. Share your story with us! ❤

  • must be in the form of a video (you can upload via FB or YouTube)
  • must be no longer than 3.5 minutes
  • must be entered by someone who has been to at least 1 Shambhala (if you haven’t attended…it hasn’t changed your life! …yet).

Entries that contain inappropriate content (as deemed by Shambhala Staff) will be disqualified.

Contest is open to residents of any country. Participants must be 19 or older.

Submissions will be accepted from June 20th, 2011 until July 7th, 2011 at 11:59 pm. (but you can get to work on making your video now!) 🙂

Entries will be voted on by peers – the Shambhala Community will be able to vote once per day for their 3 favourite video entries beginning on July 8th at midnight until July 14th at 11:59 pm.

The winning entry will be announced on July 15th.

Good luck, everyone! Be creative, be silly, be wild – this is Shambhala after all!

We can’t wait to see your entries!

HI, how about a video/essay contest for those who have never attended a Shambhala Festival, but SO want too, but can’t afford the tix because of responsibilities ie: kids, unemployed etc. But would so much want to break out and not be a virgin Shambhala(er). I would enter in a heart beat. The experience alone would be a dream come true.
Lots a love from a single mom, with 4 kids, 3 jobs (just sayin’)
