Calling all music producers!  Want a chance to hear your music played at Shambhala?

Shambhala Music Festival is teaming up with Homebreakin Records for our 2013 ‘Night Moves’ remix contest, and we want to hear your music!


Download the stems from the tracks ‘The Peaks’ and ‘Night Moves’ by Neighbour featuring Thinktank, create your remix, and you could hear it played on a MASSIVE sound system at the Pagoda Stage.

One talented winner will get the all-star treatment for this year’s show and more!

Winner will receive:

  • Your remix released on Homebreakin records.
  • Complimentary 2013 SMF ticket.
  • Skip the ferry lot line and receive free parking in talent parking.
  • Greeters at reception.
  • Accreditation – talent wristband.
  • VIP Camping – tent, air mattress, linen sheets, duvet – all provided.
  • Guided Tours – by Talent Services administration.
  • Industry guests BBQ – on Saturday and Sunday
  • Meet and greet with producers and parents.

Submission deadline is midnight PST August 2nd, 2013. Winners will be announced August 6th, 2013.

Homebreakin Records was founded in 2006 with the intention of releasing only the finest in new dance-floor grooves. Heavily influenced by late 70′s to early 80′s dance records that saw disco, funk, italo, house, and hip-hop all smashing together in brilliant experimentation, the two founders, Cal Bass and Matt Dauncey (Neighbour), set out to find similar sounds amongst the new wave of post-rave dance production. – See more at:

All submissions must be 100% original content, mixed with the Homebreakin audio content, and all submissions will become property of SMF. Producers must complete an Assignment of Rights for their work before release. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS with your submission, and you will be forwarded a release contract.
